Description
The Elite provides racing opportunities for both rowers and coxswains and to raise the bar on
technical skills and fitness levels, the Miami Rowing Club will conduct the elite racing camp from
June 14th through July 15 All rower athletes are invited to apply for the camp that will focus on
racing at the highest level.
IMPORTANT DATES
April 18 — Open Registration w/ $500.00 Deposit required.
May 15 — The $500 deposit is refundable.
May 18 — Accepted applicants will be notified.
May 18 — The $500 deposit becomes non-refundable.
JUNE 19 -JULY 19, 2020- CAMP
o Jun 19 — Orientation.
o Jun 20 — July 8 th , 2020, Preparation for Club Nationals.
o July 13 — Arrive to Ohio. Rig boats and practice day in Harsha Lake in Bethel, Ohio.
WHO CAN APPLY?
U19 Competitor may compete in the U19 category until December 31 of the year of his or her 18 th
birthday.
U17 Competitor may compete in the U17 category until December 31 of the year of his or her 16 th
birthday.
Sweep and Sculling.
Experienced coxswains, male and female.
HOW DO I GET INVITED TO ATTEND THE CAMP?
Register online and payment of $500 deposit, in by the deadline of May 17th, 2020
Meet the minimum time standards.
Commit to attending the camp from June 19th to July 19th
Agree to travel to Club Nationals in Ohio.
Invited rowers will be notified by May 18,2020
COSTS
Tuition: $2500.00 per rower
COVER
1. Training twice a day, between Monday to Friday and one-time Saturday morning.
2. Boat transportation
3. Hotel for rowers
4. Entries fees
5. Snack after practice in the morning during the Camp
NO COVER
1. Ticket of the trip to Ohio
2. All Meals during the time in Ohio.
